Hi, I am pretty sure that there are no fly eggs which would survive in the acidic conditions of the stomach. Some parasites and worms can invade the body through food and water intake, which is a problem in developing countries.
      Hope this helps

Well they must have some protection, cos the eggs actually hatch inside your intestine and then they burrow through the intestine, but I don’t think they go through your stomach.

You get inflamation, diarrhea, and fever plus other complications. The good news is that there are plenty of drugs for this particular disease – so it is curable.
