• Question: Do you think it is possible for an 'I Am Legend' situation to occur, or is this film unrealistic, exaggerated and non-scientific?

      There is no evidence that anything like that has ever occurred in the history of life on Earth.

      So you have to ask yourself how realistic is it?

      Worrying about it is a bit like waiting in your kitchen holding a frying pan ready for when a tennis-ball sized meteor flies through the window. But even less likely than that.

      I’ve never seen it, but given it’s a film that you’re telling me has some kind of science in it I’m guessing it is unrealistic, exaggerated and non-scientific.
