• Question: Don't you get bored of experiments and having to mix specific things or are you sometimes tempted to mix everything together and make an explosion?

      If I make explosions I get sacked then have to spend all day watching Jeremy Kyle, Doctors, Diagnosis Murder, Bargain Hunt, Cash in the Attic, Murder She Wrote and Channel 4 racing.

      So I don’t make explosions.

      If I mixed all my chemicals together it wouldn’t even make an explosion – it would just get me sacked probably. If I didn’t add the right chemical in the right concentration to my experiment on purpose I would only be wasting my time and the labs money so no I don’t get tempted to do this 🙂

      I don’t really do experiments in my job at the moment but when I used to do them it was sometimes boring but you have to do it to find out the interesting stuff that will help you answer the questions you have.

      Usually I’m very careful not to mix the wrong things – if I di it usually means more work to sort out the mess or start the experiment again!
