Lots of reasons. Dehydration. Blood toxins. Strenuous back exercises.

When the pain receptors surrounding the brain and in the neck are disturbed. Although it feels like it’s your brain that hurts it’s not because the brain isn’t sensitive to pain it’s the structures around it that cause the pain.
      Hope this helps.

There are many causes of headaches. Most headaches are tension headaches due to muscle contraction in the neck, shoulders or jaw, or arise when people are hungry or dehydrated. Headaches can also be caused by sinus inflammation and straining your eyes too much. More rare and sinister causes include brain tumours, bleeds or swelling of the brain.
