One of the great things about Science is it is never finished… so when you finish one thing, there is always another new thing to work on. Each answered question, leads to many more unanswered ones… So I hope I’ll always have some purpose.

Hello, there are always more questions that can be asked, or more chemicals to look at. Sometimes the funding for a project runs out or stops and if this were to happen I would just apply for another job – hopefully I won’t end up with no purpose! 🙂

There is always something else that you can find things out about so until we understand absolutely everything about the universe I think we’ll all be pretty busy.

Yes. But I’m pretty sure I will have died of old age long before I finish what I’m trying to find out in science.
