Hello, my goals in science have kind of been changing along the way. When I finished my PhD I thought I would stay in the area of research I am in now and then try to become the head of a laboratory when I had enough experience. However, during my current research I started to meet a number of clinical doctors who were coming back to do PhDs and get involved in clinical research. After finding out more about combining clinical work with research I thought this would be my new goal, so as well as working I am also studying medicine right now so that I can achieve this goal in the future and help people through clinical work and research.
