      To see all animal experiments replaced with alternative methods so that we can find cures for diseases without having to do test on animals.

      Hello, my goals in science have kind of been changing along the way. When I finished my PhD I thought I would stay in the area of research I am in now and then try to become the head of a laboratory when I had enough experience. However, during my current research I started to meet a number of clinical doctors who were coming back to do PhDs and get involved in clinical research. After finding out more about combining clinical work with research I thought this would be my new goal, so as well as working I am also studying medicine right now so that I can achieve this goal in the future.
