Question: Where do you get the idea for testing those specific chemicals from? Do you get requests from drug companies? Is it just trial and error, and how do you know which compounds to mix?

  I do work for one particular drug company and they send chemicals to me, with lists of which ones are priority compounds, for me to test in my model of learning and memory. The way in which the chemicals are tested is decided jointly by myself, my boss and people working in the drug company.
