Question: who wishes for world peace?

Me – I’ve been able to travel to some parts of the world where there’s very little peace and war has totally devastated communities. In places like the UK we’re very very fortunate in this area.

Unfortunately I don’t think science really helps us with this though, I think the reason we don’t have peace is because we’re humans – whether it’s in a primary school playground or whether we’re the dictator of a whole country, we all like to have things our own way, and truth is if we knew other people would never find out, we’d probably do lots of unfair things to other people if it helped us.

If you look through history you’ll see science being used for good and science being used for bad. If we want peace it’s something much more difficult we need – we need to change ourselves.
