• Question: why do we stretch when we wake up or when we're tired ?

      Apparently stretching is an instinctive reaction for both humans and many animals and is brought about by waking up, after long periods of inactivity, or after coming out of confined spaces. I don’t know if the basis for it is entirely understood but it not something I am familiar with.

      It’s probably to re-oxygenate our muscles to get them moving again.
